CHICAGO HERE WE COME!!!

I am so excited!!! We are going to Chicago tomorrow. Our flight leaves Reno at 7:30am has a lay over in Denver and then will get to Chicago around 3:00 Chicago time.
Don is a wreck! Poor guy! Hope the Xanax works to calm his nerves! What's worse is that we are going to fly home on Friday the 13th! Don is about to DIE!!! He is such a trooper! I love that man!

I thought that it would be fun to go during Easter Break, it normally is in the high 50's this time of year...except for when we plan a trip! We are expecting 2 days of snow and 3 days of rain the lowest high temp we are expecting for our trip is 32 but with wind chill I am advised it will feel like 20! UUUGHH!! The highest high temp we will have will be about 53 again with the wind chill, which there is almost always wind in the windy city, it ill be about 10 degrees less!
Hahhaha what moron plans a trip to a cold, windy, rainy, snowy climate for spring break? Isn't spring break about beaches and sunshine?

Oh well this won't get us down! We are going to take the town by storm. I have arranged our estimated activities based on the weather report for that day, cooler days we will do museums and stuff. The warmer of the cold days we will do more outside stuff.

A few of the highlights of our trip will be - When we get there Friday I promised Brooklyn that the first stop after the hotel will be the American Girl Doll Store, she is taking her own money to buy herself an American Girl Doll. Sunday (Easter) we are going to Wicked, we are so excited to see that play. Wednesday we are going to a Cubs game!!!! YEEE HAW!! We are all honorary Cubs fans will we are there. They are playing the Astros. Should be a good game!
Thursday we have a tea party with the American Girl Doll at the AGDS, Stacie is coming to that too, should be a ton of fun! Brooklyn is so excited about that. Hmmmm I think that is it for the stuff that we have planned. But we intend to see everything, Hancock Building, Sears Tower, everything!
Stay tuned!
